But also - we are revolutionizing our formulas to include powerful skincare infusion! Our founder, Victoria Hall, recently attended the 2023 Cosmoprof Conference in Las Vegas and discovered the incredible new possibilities emerging within the industry. Given our core values of interconnected, mind-body beauty, there is no way we are not boarding the skincare-makeup cosmetics train!

Our goal is to update all our product formulas to become super skincare tools, to help you feel as good as you look! We want every swipe, dab, and brushstroke of Velvet Moon makeup to not only be a playful artistic expression of your beauty, but also an act of radical self-care.

Well, yes and no… Our shipping rates for all of our products will remain the same! However, we have thus far been an exclusively e-commerce brand, but now we are setting our sites on a physical location! Alongside our visionary partner, NaomiT, who pairs educational and immersive cultural tea-time experiences with art therapy, we hope to put down some fresh new roots in fresh new places!

Again, yes and no! Some of our products are already outstanding when it comes to skin-enriching benefits, such as our Velvetine lipsicks that offer not only an ultra-clean vegan formula and full-color buildable coverage, but deeply nourishing hydration and protection with their wealth of botanical oils.

And although we do intend to improve the formula of our Lip, Eye, and Cheek tint, it is really hard to beat its light-weight, non-sticky, transfer proof vibrance, all day stay, and both healing and protective power. This little tint is not only dynamic in the ways it can be used, but it makes a beautiful base for glosses, balms, and even our gloss-finish Glass Lip Lipsticks!

Our Glass Lips lipsticks, while gloriously glossy and smooth, unfortunately do little to hide and correct already chapped lips, without prior exfoliation. This makes them unideal for those of us who have a habit of chewing our lips or forgetting to drink water! While we absolutely recommend you start and stop doing both of those things, we would never want to make a product that you cannot comfortably use.

We are currently developing an exfoliating balm and hydrating ayurvedic lipscrub, however, our goal is to increase the number of the hybrid products that we offer, while decreasing the number of products that you need!

Additionally, our Liquid Metallic Lipsticks will be on hiatus as we work to glow them up! While we love their buildable and blendable colors, and understated metallic sheen, they are only mere metallic lipsticks, when they could be so. much. more!

And finally, our most popular product by far, the Limerence Liquid Metallic Eyeshadows, will be improved! Right now, our Limerence shades contain hydrating hyaluronic acid and are lauded for their one-swipe bold color payoff, but we are working with our partners in Korean skincare to develop a far more advanced formula that offers both hydration and staying power! At the moment, our Liquid Metallic shadows pair best with eyeshadow primer and a small dusting of setting powder, but we want to offer you the same beloved shades with fewer steps.
